The Goethe-Gymnasium Regensburg is a scientific-technological and linguistic high school in the subdistrict Inner West in the west section of Regensburg , founded in 1815 and after the German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is named.

history
The high school was founded in 1815. For the 150th anniversary it was renamed the Goethe-Gymnasium Regensburg .
The extensive renovation work on the school building was completed in 2012. In 2018, a long-standing dispute about the costs of the refurbishment errors in the sports hall, which resulted in increased emissions, was settled out of court.
