The Goethestraße 26 building is a listed residential building in Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located on the north side of Goethestrasse in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld Ost district . Goethestrasse 27 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west . The building is part of the Goethestrasse 22-28 monument area as a single monument .
Architecture and history
The three-storey plastered building was built in 1903 in a neo-baroque style. The facade is dominated by a two-storey arbor with rounded corners. Above the arbor there is a balcony that is spanned by a triangular gable. Above that, in the roof area, there is a curved roof hood with volutes and vegetal decorations.
The ground floor facade is rusticated . At the western edge of the building is the entrance portal, which is also provided with a triangular gable. In the gable is a cartouche and the year 1903 as an inscription . In addition to figurative elements, foliage and tooth-cut friezes are used as neo-baroque facade decorations.
In front of the house is an enclosed front garden .
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 81756 .
As part of the Wilhelminian style development on the Goetheanlage, the building is considered significant in terms of urban development.
