Gognale

The Gognale was a measure of area in different places and on different islands in Dalmatia .

In Šibenik , Drniš and Knin 1 Gognale = 576 Pertiche quadrato / Sacchi = 8.532 ares

The measure corresponded to the size of the Vretene , another area measure in Dalmatia. There was agreement in the places Spalato , Almissa or Makarska in the measure as above. Different values were

On Curzola 1 gognale = 144 poplate squares = 9.152 ares
In Zara , on Pag and in Scardona 1 Gognale = 400 pertiche squares = 23.70023 ares
In Nona 1 Gognale = 225 Tavole = 1333 square meters
