Gognale
The Gognale was a measure of area in different places and on different islands in Dalmatia .
The measure corresponded to the size of the Vretene , another area measure in Dalmatia. There was agreement in the places Spalato , Almissa or Makarska in the measure as above. Different values were
- On Curzola 1 gognale = 144 poplate squares = 9.152 ares
- In Zara , on Pag and in Scardona 1 Gognale = 400 pertiche squares = 23.70023 ares
- In Nona 1 Gognale = 225 Tavole = 1333 square meters
