The Gola language is the West Atlantic language of the Gola people , spoken by a total of 166,000 people in Liberia and Sierra Leone .

153,000 speak the language in Liberia between the Mano and Saint Paul Rivers (1991: 99,300) and 13,000 in Sierra Leone.

The language is to be distinguished from the Badyara called Gola and the Gola dialect of Mumuye in Nigeria . The dialects of Gola itself are: de (deng, todii), managobla (gobla), kongbaa, kpo, senje (sene), tee (tege) and toldil (toodii).
