The Gold Harbor is a small bay on the east end of South Georgia . It is located 8 km south-southwest of Cape Charlotte . The Bertrab glacier joins at its head end .
The name of the bay, which in the meantime also bore the names Anna's Bay , Gold-Hafen and Sandwich Bay , has been established since the times of the first whale and seal hunters in South Georgia.
