The Goldegg Verlag is a German-Austrian-fiction book publisher based in Berlin and Vienna .

history

The publishing house was founded in 2002 by Elmar Weixlbaumer in Vienna's Goldeggasse, which also gave the publishing house its name. Verena Minoggio has been managing the program as publishing director since 2008 and is responsible for the publications. Elmar Weixlbaumer continues to work as managing director.

In 2009 the Goldegg Consulting division was founded to advise companies in the field of corporate publishing .

The company group also includes the training provider Goldegg Training Medienakademie, which offers media-specific training for authors, editors, publishers, journalists and graphic artists, etc.

In 2012, Goldegg Verlag opened its second company headquarters on Friedrichstrasse in Berlin.

In 2020, the publisher's list of publications shows 577 available titles. Most of them are also available as e-books . The books are available in the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Goldegg Verlag is the organizer of the Austrian literature prize Book Slam , which takes place every autumn in Vienna.
