Golden is a village ( Village ) in Adams County in the west of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .
Attractions include the local Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Chapel and Cemetery and the Galerieholländer - Windmill built in 1872 by Hinrich Reemts Emminga . A few years earlier he had built an almost identical windmill in the East Frisian field .
