Felde is a district of the municipality of Großefehn in the Aurich district in East Frisia .
history
Felde is mentioned for the first time in a document from Aland Monastery from September 7, 1431. This document is about a land acquisition of the monastery in the Leybucht , signed by 20 community representatives of today's southern Aurich district. A Wilham Wybana signed as a representative of the village of Felde, then written as Velde. Ecclesiastically, the Felde farmers belong to the parish of Holtrop .
A gallery Dutch - windmill was built in 1866 by Hinrich Reemts Emminga. A few years later he built an almost identical mill in Golden, Illinois, USA .
On July 1, 1972, Felde came to the new community of Großefehn.
In 2002 a flint ax from the Neolithic was found in Felde .
