The Golesh Bluff ( English ; Bulgarian връх Голеш wrach Golesch ) is a 1400 m high and icy cliff on the Trinity Peninsula of Graham Lands the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It looms 13.27 km east-southeast of Poynter Hill , 6.37 km south-southeast of the Aureole Hills , 11.7 km southwest of Skoparnik Bluff and 12.59 km west of Gurgulyat Peak on the north side of the Detroit Plateau . Its striking western slopes lie above a glacier that flows in a north-westerly direction to the Pettus Glacier .
German and British scientists mapped the cliff in 1996. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2010 after the town of Golesh in northeastern Bulgaria .
