The Gulf of Ancud ( Spanish : Golfo de Ancud ) is a bay on the west coast of Chile .

The Gulf of Ancud separates the island of Chiloe from the Chilean mainland. To the north of the island, the Gulf of Ancud is connected to the South Pacific by the Chacao Canal, and the Gulf of Corcovado joins it in the south . The Reloncaví Fjord , which is of great importance for the fishing industry , branches off to the northeast .

The city of the same name, Ancud, is located in the north of Chiloe Island on the Chacao Canal.
