Goliath in Six Flags Over Georgia ( Austell , Georgia , USA ) is a steel roller coaster model Hyper Coaster from the manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on April 1, 2006.

The track is 61 m high, the length is 1365.5 m and it reaches a top speed of 113 km / h. It sits on 3.4 acres and is the manufacturer's fourth roller coaster in Six Flags Over Georgia.

Trains

Goliath owns two trains with nine cars each. Four people (one row of four) can be seated in each carriage. Lap bars are used as a restraint system.

incident

In July 2006, a 45-year-old man died while driving on Goliath after having a heart attack . When the train reached the station he was already unconscious. An autopsy found the man had a congenital heart disease and it was expected that the coroner would cite natural death as the cause. Goliath was closed for inspection for two hours but no errors were found.
