Gomboro is both a municipality ( commune rurale in French ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso , in the Boucle du Mouhoun region and the Sourou province . The municipality has 13,830 inhabitants in 10 villages and four sectors of the main town.
