Gondolettas on the Kutzerweiher in Luisenpark

A gondoletta is a boat operation in which the boats are pulled over a predetermined course with a rope guided under the surface of the water, usually on a circuit. Usually this is used - similar to a park railway - as a leisure activity, especially in amusement parks . The boats themselves have no drive, the rope is moved. With this type of propulsion, the boats move completely silently over the water.
