The Goodwin nunatakkers are an isolated group of nunataks in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Transantarctic Mountains they rise 16 km west of the Marshall Mountains on the south side of the Walcott Firnfield .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the geomagnetic and seismologist Michael L. Goodwin, who worked at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1960 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
