Gora Amosova (English; Russian гора Амосова gora Amossowa , German 'Amossows Berg' ) is a mountain in the East Antarctic Mac-Robertson Land . It rises up in the payer group of Hoelfjella .
Soviet scientists made its designation in 1986. It is named after Iwan Petrowitsch Amossow (1772–1843), builder of the Vostok , flagship of the first Russian Antarctic expedition (1819–1921) under Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen .
