Gorampa Sonam Sengge ( Tib . Go rams pa bsod nams seng ge * 1429 , † 1489 ) was a master of Sakya -School of Tibetan Buddhism . He is the author of an extensive collection of Sutra and Tantra Commentaries. In 1473 he founded the monastery Thubten Namgyel Ling ( thub bstan rnam rgyal gling ) in today's Namling County of Shigatse in Tibet . He was the 6th throne holder of the Ngor Monastery (chin. E'er si fatai鄂 尔 寺 法 台), the founding monastery of the Ngor tradition ( ngor pa ), one of the three main secondary schools of the Sakya tradition.
