Goran Nedeljković

Goran Nedeljkovic (* 20th August 1982 in Smederevo ) is a former Serbian lightweight - rowers who for Yugoslavia and until 2006 before 2002 Serbia and Montenegro took.

Athletic career

The 1.91 m tall Goran Nedeljković won together with Ivan Smiljanić the silver medal in the double scull at the Junior World Championships in 1999. At the U23 World Regatta 2001 Nedeljković won the title in the lightweight two-man without helmsman with Miloš Tomić , in 2002 the two took third Space. At the 2004 Olympic Games , the two together with Veljko Urošević and Nenad Babović reached seventh place in the lightweight four-man without a helmsman .

In 2007 Nedeljković started again in the lightweight four-man without a helmsman, reaching the C-final at the 2007 World Championships was not enough for the hoped-for Olympic qualification for 2008. At the 2007 European Championships , the Serbian four-man in the 2004 line-up won the silver medal behind the Italians. In 2008 Miloš Tomić and Goran Nedeljković received the bronze medal in two at the World Championships , at the European Championships the four again won silver behind the Italians.
