The Gordon Glacier is a 40 km long glacier in the East Antarctic Coatsland . From the Crossover Pass it flows north through the Shackleton Range and joins the Slessor Glacier not far from Mount Sheffield .
It was first mapped in 1957 by participants in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) led by British polar explorer Vivian Fuchs . It is named after George Patrick Pirie-Gordon (1918–2011), member of the management committee and treasurer of the expedition.
