Thomas Gordon Muirhead (* 1955 in Perth ) is a former Scottish curler .

Career

Muirhead won his first silver medal at the 1992 World Curling Championships in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . He repeated this success a year later at the 1993 World Curling Championships in Geneva . In 1994 he secured the European Championship in Sundsvall . At the men's curling world championship in 1999 he was part of the winning team and became world champion.

Muirhead, who has been married to his wife Linda since 1989, has a son and a daughter. His daughter Eve Muirhead is also a successful curler, in 2014 she won the bronze medal as Skip with Team Great Britain at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi .
