Gortipohl
Gortipohl ( ) is a place in the municipality of St. Gallenkirch in the Montafon in Vorarlberg .
The place is in the valley behind St. Gallenkirch before Gaschurn and has 668 inhabitants (as of 2008). The Balbierbach forms a waterfall in Gortipohl and flows into the Ill here .
The Kuratienkirche hl. Nikolaus is a branch church of the parish church of St. Gallus . To the west of the church on the other side of the street is the local cemetery, which was expanded in 2011.
Gortipohl is the location of the Innermontafon secondary school in the communities of St. Gallenkirch and Gaschurn. The village also has a kindergarten, a primary school, four tennis courts and a Kneipp facility.
