History and construction

It was developed in 1940 as a further development of the Gotha Go 150 by the Gothaer Waggonfabrik . The aircraft was designed as a twin-engine, cantilevered low-wing aircraft made of wood with a retractable landing gear. In contrast to the Go 150, the Go 241 could transport four people. Two Hirth-HM-506-A motors with 160 HP each were used as drive. Due to the war, only one experimental machine was produced, which was destroyed in a bomb attack in 1944.
