The Gotha Go 149 was a German single-seat training aircraft .

It was developed in 1936 by the Gothaer Waggonfabrik for fighter pilot training. The aircraft was designed and built as a cantilever low-wing aircraft with retractable landing gear and an 8-cylinder Argus As 10 C V-engine with 240 hp . Armament for training and for use as a light attack aircraft was provided. Only two test models (V1 and V2) were built.
