Gottfried Grimm
Gottfried Grimm (* 6. April 1936 ) is a German CSU - local politicians . From 1972 to 1990 he was district administrator of the Fürstenfeldbruck district .
Life
After studying law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and taking the state examinations in law, Grimm worked for the government of Upper Bavaria , the Federal Chancellery , the Fürstenfeldbruck and Munich district offices and the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior .
In June 2018 he left the CSU after exactly 50 years. Grimm could not identify with the attitude of the party leadership to refugee policy.
District Administrator
After the election in June, he took up the post of district administrator in Fürstenfeldbruck on July 1, 1972 and was re-elected in 1978 and 1984. In March 1990 he was defeated by Rosemarie Grützner ( SPD ) and left office on April 30, 1990.
In the 18 years of his tenure, the district grew from 145,000 to 180,000 inhabitants, so that Grimm had to master major infrastructural challenges. He introduced a district development plan. Eight district schools were built or expanded, the company for waste recycling and the waste incineration plant were founded. The foundation of the exhibition and event company continues to act as the host of the FFB show. In the cultural area, the Jexhof farm museum was created.
City council and honorary office
From 1996 to 2002 he was a city councilor in Fürstenfeldbruck . Since then, he has also been involved in the development, for example as chairman of the support association for the Mammendorf leisure park from its foundation in 2010 to 2013 or as a helper in the Fürstenfeldbruck asylum seeker group at the end of 2014.
Private
Grimm is married, has three grown children and lives in Fürstenfeldbruck.
