Mammendorf is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck . It is located about eight kilometers west of Fürstenfeldbruck and 35 kilometers west of Munich . Mammendorf is the seat of the administrative community Mammendorf .

Mammendorf has five official parts of the municipality : the parish village of Mammendorf, the parish village of Nannhofen , the hamlets of Egg and Peretshofen and the wasteland of Eitelsried .

Mammendorf was 1250 years old in 2008, making it one of the oldest places in the region.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1978, part of the dissolved municipality of Aich was incorporated as part of the regional reform in Bavaria . On May 1, 1978 Nannhofen was added.
Population development
Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 2,794 to 4,825 by 2,031 inhabitants or 72.7%.

Josef Heckl has been the mayor since May 2014; it was confirmed on March 15, 2020 with 91.1% of the vote for a further six years. Predecessor Johann Thurner held the office for 20 years.
Municipal council
In the 2020 local elections , the council was filled as follows:
- CSU : 4 seats (24.36%)
- Greens : 2 seats (14.32%)
- SPD : 1 seat (5.10%).
- Citizens' Community Mammendorf : 5 seats (34.19%)
- Free voters : 4 seats (22.04%)
The turnout was 60.53%. Compared to the 2014 to 2020 term of office, the citizens' community and the Free Voters each had to hand in a mandate, and the Greens, who stood for the first time, won these two seats.

traffic
Mammendorf station on the Munich – Augsburg line is the final stop on line S 3 of the Munich S-Bahn . In addition, regional trains of the DB Bahn connect Mammendorf with Munich , as well as Augsburg , Donauwörth and Dinkelscherben on the routes R 1, R 4 and R 6 of the Augsburg transport association . The station was renamed on December 11, 2005 from Nannhofen to Mammendorf . Mammendorf had already been listed on the MVV network plans with Nannhofen (Mammendorf) since December 2004 . Mammendorf is on Bundesstrasse 2 .
