Mammendorf is a village belonging to Eichenbarleben in the municipality of Hohe Börde in Saxony-Anhalt .

The village, laid out as a cluster , has around 250 inhabitants and is located northeast of Eichenbarleben in the Magdeburg Börde . The Olbe flows north of the village . A little further north of the village leads the federal highway 2 , south the federal highway 1 . To the east of the village there is an approximately 20 hectare hard rock opencast mine owned by the Cronenberger Steinindustrie company, in which purple-colored andesite is mined, which is used as chippings .

In addition to hard rock mining, Mammendorf is economically characterized by agriculture. There is a youth club and a meeting place in the village. The stone house Mammendorf was built as a village community center. Mammendorf also has a volunteer fire brigade.

The St. Andrew's Church in the village dates from the beginning of the 13th century. In addition to the church, the residential buildings Dorfstrasse 5 and Kirchstrasse 4 and the manor house Mammendorf are entered in the local monument register. The Mammendorf war memorial was erected near the church to commemorate those who fell in World War II.

Various archaeological finds have been made in the area of ​​the open pit, including a settlement from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age and a grave from the Bronze Age burial mound .

In 1933 Mammendorf had 293 inhabitants, and in 1939 it had 263 inhabitants. In 2018, after a strong thunderstorm, there was a mudslide that affected the streets and properties of Mammendorf.

Local mayor is Detlef Binkowski (as of 2018).
