Adelshofen is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck and a member of the Mammendorf administrative community .

geography

On January 1, 1999, the area was 13.28 km². The three officially named parts of the municipality are the church villages of Adelshofen, Luttenwang and Nassenhausen . There are the districts of Adelshofen and Luttenwang.

history

Until the church is planted

Adelshofen was mentioned for the first time between 1158 and 1162 as Adelungeshouen ( court of Adalunc / Adalung / Adelunc ). Presumably, the area was inhabited earlier.

In 1986 a Roman mortar from the 3rd century was found.

In the 14th century the place name changed over Adlungshofen to documentary mention of Adeltzhofen 1483. The current place name is attested from the 1811th The place belonged to the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark of the Counts Fugger . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the municipality of Adelshofen was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .

Incorporations

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent municipality of Luttenwang was incorporated.

Between 1988 and 2018 the municipality grew from 1,118 to 1,713 by 595 inhabitants or by 53.2%.

Robert Bals has been mayor since May 1, 2020. He belongs to the Voting Association Adelshofen-Nassenhausen-Luttenwang and was elected on March 15, 2020 with 87.09% of the vote. His predecessor was Michael Raith, in office from May 1, 1996 to April 30, 2020.

Economy including agriculture and forestry

In 2017 there were 135 jobs subject to social security contributions in the municipality. Of the resident population, 734 people were in an employment relationship subject to compulsory insurance. This means that the number of out-commuters was 599 more than that of in-commuters. 11 residents were unemployed. In 2016 there were 25 farms.

The place is sometimes referred to as Bavarian Bolzano , as the local conditions allow good yields from fruit growing.

Convent of the Poor School Sisters

In the Fuggerstrasse, in the former home of the estate manager of the Adelshofen Castle, which was demolished in 1833, there was a monastery of the poor school sisters of Our Lady from 1845 until its dissolution in October 2014 . The municipality of Adelshofen bought the former monastery site in 2014.
