Amperland is a quarterly local journal for the districts and large district towns of Dachau , Freising and Fürstenfeldbruck .

It was founded by the Dachau homeland researcher Gerhard Hanke and first appeared in 1965. After his death in 1998, it has been published by Wilhelm Liebhart since 1999 . It is printed by the Bayerland printing and publishing house in Dachau, relocated from the city of Dachau.

The editorial team has given itself regional responsibilities.
