Gottfried Koehn

Gottfried Koehn (* 16th January 1948 in the United Muckrow ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 1998 to 2002 member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

After graduating from high school , he trained as a locksmith and studied theology at the University of Jena from 1966 to 1968 . From 1968 to 1969 Koehn was in custody at the Ministry for State Security in Gera and was subsequently exmatriculated. From 1969 to 1975 he worked as a construction and hoist fitter at WBK Gera and Halle and was the technology group leader for the following two years. After his distance learning from 1971 to 1976 he graduated as a graduate engineer (FH) for heavy mechanical engineering. From 1977 to 1979 he worked as a department head of the WBK Halle, before he was the main department head until 1983. From 1983 to 1988 Koehn was deputy production manager in the precast concrete plant in Halle - Merseburg . Until 1996 he held other management positions here. From 1996 until he moved into the state parliament in 1998, he was a project engineer at RWE AQUA GmbH.

Koehn is married and has two children.

Political party

Koehn has been a member of the SPD since reunification .

MP

He has been a city councilor in Halle since 1990, where he was chairman of the SPD city council faction until August 2008 and had to retire for professional reasons.

Koehn was a member of the state parliament from 1998 to 2002 . He represented the constituency of Halle V and was a member of the committee for housing, urban development and transport.
