Gottfried Schulz (doctor)

Gottfried Schulz (born August 10, 1669 in Altenburg / Thuringia , † 1719 in Schmölln ) was a town doctor in Schmölln and a member of the “ Leopoldina ” academy of scholars .

Gottfried Schulz, also Gottofredus Schulzius, was a respondent at the universities of Erfurt and Jena. He was a city ​​physician in Schmölln near Meissen. Its effect data in 1693 are documented here.

On September 16, 1694 Gottfried Schulz with the nickname ARCHELAUS (other sources speak of ACHELAUS ) was accepted as a member ( matriculation number 209 ) in the Leopoldina .
