Gotthard Haug (born December 3, 1958 ) is a German manager and investor.

From 1991 to 1993, Haug worked as “Finance and Administration Manager” for Agfa AG in South Korea. In 1994 he returned to Germany and in the same year took over the position of “Controller Central Finance Europe” at Mars Incorporated , responsible for the company's finances in the European business. From 1995 he was “Finance Director & Board Member” at Mars.

In 2000 he moved to Walmart Germany and was responsible for the Group's German business as CFO . In 2004, Haug surprisingly left Wal Mart Germany.

Teleplan

In 2004 Gotthard Haug took over the position of CFO at Teleplan , a Dutch company that is active in the area of ​​after sales. Between 2004 and mid-2009 he managed to transform Teleplan into a profitable company again through a restructuring. When he took office in May 2004, Teleplan was almost insolvent and the share price was down. After the CEO at the time left the company, Gotthard Haug was elected as the new CEO at the Annual General Meeting on May 7, 2009 and took office on May 8. 2009 was the most successful financial year for Haug since the company was founded, and Teleplan returned to the SDAX with effect from December 21, 2009 .

Haug stepped down as CEO at Teleplan on May 15, 2016. Today Gotthard Haug works in the private equity area. He lives in Belgium.
