The cemetery on the Köpings klint is a cemetery on the Swedish island of Öland in the Baltic Sea . The prehistoric tombs are located between the towns of Borgholm and Köpingsvik on the Köpings klint .

The grave field is 210 m long in east-west direction and varies in width between 50 and 100 m. It includes 50 graves in different designs. In the grave field lies the Röse Galgerör , in which a deceased was buried with a spear , dagger and ax . In later times the galgerör served as a place of execution. The last execution took place on October 21, 1859, when "Frans Joel Lundström" was beheaded.
