The Grünewalder Lauch is an approximately 100 hectare lake in Brandenburg on the eastern edge of the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft nature park on the outskirts of Grünewalde .
It was created by filling the remaining hole 117 of a former opencast mine around the area of the Plessaer Heide and Mückenberg (today Lauchhammer-West ) and was redesigned into a swimming lake by 1976. According to citizens of Grünewalde and Staupitz , there should still be an excavator in it.
On the Grünewalder Lauch there is also a campsite and a mini golf course.
