The Grünhornlücke is a high alpine, glaciated mountain pass in the Bernese Alps between the Gross Grünhorn in the north and the Fiescher Gabelhorn in the south. The pass height is about 3280  m above sea level. M. The Grünhornlücke is a transition between the two largest ice streams of the Alps , the Aletsch Glacier to the west and Fieschergletscher the east, both in the south Wallis drain away. It is a little more difficult and is often used by mountain climbers . Nearby alpine bases are the Konkordia huts on the Aletsch and the remote Finsteraarhorn huts on the Fiescher glacier at the foot of Bern's highest peak, the Finsteraarhorn ( 4274  m above sea level ).
