Grünwald Park
The Green Forest Park is a three-hectare park in the Munich district Neuhausen-Nymphenburg .

The park is located between Nymphenburger Straße , Waisenhausstraße and Südlicher Auffahrtsallee. In the park there is a playground, a streetball court and a toboggan hill. At the junction of Waisenhausstrasse and Nymphenburger Strasse there is a tram turnaround loop. The Grünwaldpark is located in the Nymphenburg landscape protection area (LSG-00588.01).
Surroundings
Directly on Waisenhausstraße 4 is the presidential villa, a neo-baroque castle-like building, built by Hans Schnetzer around 1925 and today (2017) the seat of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects , next to it the House of Architecture . The Munich orphanage is located northeast of the park . The Hubertusbrunnen is located north of the southern access avenue on the Schlosskanal . The Herz-Jesu-Kirche (south) and the villa colony Neuwittelsbach (west) are close to the park .
history
In 1892 there was already the horse-drawn tram line : Grünwaldpark - Karlsplatz - Promenadeplatz - Adalbertstraße.
