Tomb of mandras

Location of Ardauli in Oristano

The painted tomb of Mandras ( Italian Tomba dipinta di Mandras , also called Ardauli sos musuleos ) is located in Ardauli in the Barrigadu, in the east of the province of Oristano in Sardinia .

The four- chamber rock tomb with two round and one elliptical chambers has two types of ceiling designs and the walls in the main chamber are rounded on all sides, on which are large red, abstract paintings. There is a square recess in the bottom, which is surrounded by a weakly recessed circle.
