The grave slab for Pierre de Pedou is in the Catholic Church Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption in Gouzangrez , a French commune in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region . The Gothic grave slab has been on the list of monuments in France as Monument historique since 1908 .

Pierre de Pedou, a squire , died on January 26, 1333. On the grave slab the dead man is depicted under a three-pass arch with a shield and sword. Above it is a triangular gable studded with crabs , which is flanked by pinnacles .

The inscription on the edge reads: "Cy gist Pierre de Pedou escuyer qui trespassa l'an MCCCXXXIII le mercredi XXVIe jour de janvier priez Dieu pour l'ame de li." (Here lies the squire Pierre de Pedou, who died in 1333 on Died Wednesday the 26th day of January. Pray to God for his soul.)
