The gravestones of the Rottal family are at the parish church Feistritz am Wechsel in the Neunkirchen district in Lower Austria . The tombstones are under monument protection with the church ( list entry ).

history

In 1547 Feistritz Castle passed to the Rottal family .

Tombstones

The remarkable collection of 13 mostly red marble tombstones show themselves in the style of the Renaissance and the early Baroque .

On the west wall north of the porch of the church

  • Early baroque coat of arms grave stone made of sandstone of Elisabeth von Rottal, b. Wurmprandin Freyin, Wurmprand coat of arms, from the middle of the 17th century.

On the north wall of the church

  • Two small heraldic gravestones of the children of Hans Joseph Freiherr von Rottel, Hans Friderich died in 1621 and Barbara Cordula died in 1624.
