The Grace Ice Stream is an ice stream on the English coast of the Palmerland in the southern part of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows 20 km southeast of the Eklund Islands in a westerly direction to the George VI Ice Shelf in George VI Sound .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. It is named after the acronym for the German-American Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment .
