Graduation Ridge is a towering and rocky ridge of the Usarp Mountains in northern Victoria Land . It forms the northern extension of the Morozumi Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. Participants in a campaign carried out from 1967 to 1968 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition visited and named him. It was named after the fact that the geologist John A. S. Dow, who was involved in this campaign, received the results of the final examination of his studies here.
