description

The two-storey house with five to six axes was built in the second quarter of the 18th century. It is free-standing with its tail gable facing Institutstrasse and its long side facing Postgasse. The massive brick building was probably built shortly after the city fire of 1735. The portal located in the central axis with three stone steps in front has a double-winged diamond door with iron knobs. The stone walls are provided with profile fighters . The cage arch serves as a skylight and is protected by a grille . There is a niche with a wooden figure of St. Johannes Nepomuk , which was created around 1740/50. The windows of the projecting floors have profiled sills and folding shutters. The eaves profile at the foot of the three-storey tail gable is covered with bricks like the other storey profiles . The profiles are cranked with the tail arches . The back of the house consists of plastered half-timbering .

The house staircase leads to the attic, it is made of oak with platforms and a profiled handrail . The beginners' posts consist of delicate square balusters . Softwood floorboards and plaster ceilings over covings can be seen in the corridors .
