Osona county
The county of Osona , in Catalan Comtat d'Osona (in the early Middle Ages also Ausona ), is one of the historic Catalan counties to which the corresponding bishopric Osona belonged; its boundaries roughly coincide with those of today's Comarca Osona . The county capital was Vic .

The title went back to the Cabrera family in 1383, was sold by the Marquis of Aitona in 1574 and passed to the Duke of Medinaceli by marriage in 1772 .
In addition to the Count, there were also Vice Counts of Osona, who later changed their title to Vice Counts of Cabrera .
