Graham E. Bell is an American amateur astronomer and asteroid explorer. He and his colleague Gary Hug run the Farpoint Observatory in Eskridge , Kansas .
During his observations, he discovered over 40 asteroids between 1999 and 2006. He is also the co-discoverer of the short-period comet 178P / Hug-Bell .
