Graming

Graming is part of the municipality of Altötting in the Oberkastl district .

The village is located about one kilometer south of the city center on the AÖ 10 district road to Trostberg .

The Graminger Weißbräu brewery is located in the village and the St. Georgen outdoor swimming pool is to the north .

history

The place was first mentioned in a document around 1300 as Graemling . The place name indicates the foundation by people of a man named Graman .

The place originally belonging to the municipality of Oberkastl came to the municipality of Kastl when it was founded on January 1, 1966 . With effect from January 1, 1978 nine places were reclassified from Kastl to the town of Altötting, including Graming.
