Unterholzhausen is a district of the Upper Bavarian town of Altötting in the district of the same name . It belongs to the Raitenhart district.

The parish village is 3.5 kilometers northwest of the pilgrimage site Altötting, on the right bank of the Inn .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1130 and was already connected to the canons of Au am Inn . The construction of the parish and pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary began around 1460 . Unterholzhausen was the main town of the Raitenhart community, which existed from 1818 to 1971 .
In 1905 the Raitenhart volunteer fire brigade was founded, located in Unterholzhausen.
