The GranMilano SpA is an Italian food company . The Milan- based company mainly produces baked goods , Italian holiday specialties such as panettone , Pandoro and Torrone , frozen products and ice cream under the brands Tre Marie , Sanson and Mongelo . The products are sold through restaurants as well as retailers .
GranMilano emerged in 1998 from the traditional pastry shop Tre Marie , founded in 1896 on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. In 2001, the company entered ice cream production with the takeover of the Sanson brand. GranMilano has more than 700 employees and in 2007 generated sales of 155 million euros.
