route

After the start in Isbergues, a large loop around Isbergues with a few hills was first contested. The last kilometers are around a circuit with a length of 11.5 km. The circuit is flat.

Race course

After driving ten kilometers, five drivers attacked, including Benoît Cosnefroy (France / AG2R), Aln Riou (France / Fortuneo), Pierre Gouault (France / Auber 93) and Nicolas Baldo (France / Auber 93). Their maximum lead was five minutes. With 25 kilometers to go, the outliers had a two-minute lead over the field and 10 kilometers to go one minute. The field could no longer close the gap to the outliers. Over the last few meters, Cosnefroy and Gouault were able to break away from the former escorts. Cosnefroy won the sprint from Gouault and with it this race. Baldo and Riou crossed the finish line a few seconds behind their pursuers who had sprinted up.
