Grasholmen is an island in the North Sea off the Norwegian city of Stavanger in the province of Rogaland .
It is located northeast of the port of Vågen in the north of the city. Immediately to the north is the island of Sølyst, to which there is a bridge. The Stavanger bybru , completed in 1978, runs over Grasholmen and leads north from the city center of Stavanger to the north to the island of Sølyst.
Grasholmen extends from southwest to northeast over about 350 meters with a width of up to about 200 meters. The island is densely built up, its shores are dominated by large marinas .
