Greaves is an impact crater on the eastern edge of the lunar front side , on the southwestern edge of Mare Crisium , immediately north of Lick crater . The relatively little eroded crater is bowl-shaped with a flat bottom.
The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the British astronomer.
