The Green Hows Tarn is a lake in the Lake District , Cumbria , England .
The lake is west of Windermere and was created by the owners of Graythwaite Hall together with Green Hows Upper Tarn south of it as a private boating and fishing pond.
The lake has two unnamed tributaries at its north end and an unnamed tributary at its south end. At the south end there is a connection to Green Hows Upper Tarn .
