Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH is an online and mobile app provider based in Vienna . It was founded in 1998 and is now part of the Novomatic Group.
history
Greentube was founded in 1998 by Eberhard Dürrschmid and Harald Reisinger as Dürrschmid & Reisinger OEG and transferred to Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH in 2000 . Right from the start, the company specialized in the development and distribution of online and mobile games.
Greentube adapted traditional card games as online multiplayer games. The 3D downhill racing game Ski Challenge , which premiered in the 2005 ski season, was developed in cooperation with the online department of the broadcaster ORF . The online game has been further developed every year since then and published in a new edition, most recently in 2013 as Ski Challenge 14 .
In January 2010, Astra Games Ltd. , a subsidiary of the Austrian gaming group Novomatic , holds 70% of Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions AG , which was subsequently renamed Greentube Internet Entertainment Solutions GmbH . In September 2011, Astra Games Ltd. the remaining 30 percent shares. Novomatic Chief Technology Officer Thomas Graf has been appointed the new CEO of Greentube GmbH. The product portfolio has been expanded to include bingo and other casino games in recent years .
Games
Greentube's product portfolio includes classic slots, table games, live dealer gaming, "amusement with prize" (AWP) reloaded slots, server-based gaming, social casino gaming, bingo and more.
Greentube is one of the leading online casino providers in Austria. Starting with slot games like Mermaid's Pearl or The Alchemist , the company expanded its product range with games from Novomatic. Well-known slot games include Lucky Lady's Charm deluxe , Book of Ra , Sizzling Hot Deluxe , Dolphin's Pearl Deluxe and Lord of the Ocean .
Awards
- Innovation award 2003 for the mobile / iTV multiplayer, which enables the quick creation of multiplayer games for systems with large numbers of users, as well as media convergence .
- Golden European Seal of e-Excellence 2008 (Gold), 2009 (Platinum), 2010 (Platinum), for innovative ways in marketing and services of the company regarding international competitiveness.
- eCOGRA Software Prize 2009 : This prize is given to online gaming companies that can prove that both gaming operations and real money transactions are fair and that the casinos are operated responsibly. In addition, the security of the game portfolio and the back office systems meet the standards of eCOGRA (eCommerce Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance).
- Green Award 2010 : In the course of the “Ebiz Egovernment Award”, Greentube received the special award, the so-called “Green Award”. The company received the award for its “Polo Cup” game, a cooperation with Volkswagen that calls for fuel economy and environmental awareness.
- EGR B2B Awards 2015: Skill Games Supplier.
- GIA (Gaming Intelligence) Social Casino Supplier of the Year 2017 for Greentube Pro.
